Brad Goreski's Personal Style Motto

Go big or stay home, says the trendsetter.

Brad Goreski's proving he can bring the sparkle to men's fashion week in Milan.

"For the Neil Barrett show, I put on a plaid Michael Bastian shorts suit and decided to make it my own by pulling on my Swarovski-crystal-encrusted Louboutin high-tops," the star of It's a Brad, Brad World guest-blogs for Details. Too much? Nah. "I had a moment before when I thought, 'Is this just too obnoxious?' But then I just think of Anna Dello Russo -- who'll walk out of the house with cherries on her head -- so why can't I wear Swarovski high-tops if I want to? Any time I have doubt I just think, 'What would ADR do?'"

For those not quite lurking in the inner fashion realm, Anna Dello Russo calls herself "a passionate fashionista," but others have dubbed her zeal as fashion mania. She's a Vogue veteran, who's currently Editor-at-Large and Creative Consultant for Vogue Japan.

Although clearly a fan of high-brow labels, Brad is also finding clothing inspiration in unexpected places. For the Jil Sander show, Rachel Zoe's protégé chose an orange suit. Bright orange. "As I was driving to the show, I noticed that the guys doing construction on the street were wearing the exact same color," he continued blogging. "I like to think I was a high-fashion version of a construction worker."
