Brad's Must-Dos for Oscar Men
If you're walking the red carpet, Brad Goreski wants you to take your tux to the next level.
Forget the Superbowl. The real Sunday must-watch event is coming this weekend -- The Oscars. While we're eagerly awaiting what Jessica, Jennifer, and Anne will be wearing, we are admittedly a little less excited to see Ben or Bradley's tux. But just beacause the men are in monkey suits it doesn't mean they have to be conservative monkey suits. So OK! Magazine asked our style maven Brad Goreski what the boys can do to bedazzle their boring old tux.
Here are his nifty ideas -- in case you find yourself in need of looking fashion-forward and ready for the flash bulbs shortly.
The first item on his must-do list might shock you. "Socks are always a great way for a man to incorporate some color into their wardrobe whether it be for a formal occasion, or on a daily basis," Brad bemused.
Wouldn't it be great to see George Clooney sporting a pair of stripy neon socks? As if he could be more charming.
Brad thinks color is definitely the new black. He suggested donning a navy suit jacket with black pants. How daringly casual!
"Cuff links are a great place to add a personal detail. I like to add a little bling with diamond or some sort of stone that will add a little glitz and glamour. For those less adventurous, try solid gold," he advised.
Check out the rest of his tips over on OK! and check back on here on Monday to see what Brad's fellow fashionable Bravoleb Cameron Silver from Dukes of Melrose thought of this year's red carpet looks.
