In a cell phone video taken by a photographer who happened to be shooting Brandi at the time of the incident that was later obtained by TMZ, a friend of Brandi's can be seen removing a man from her white Range Rover as they walked up to the parked vehicle. The man then takes off and her friend chases after him. Brandi can be heard yelling, "Call the police!"

Brandi's friend ultimately catches up to the alleged perpetrator down the street, and he pins him to the ground for several minutes. Two police officers finally arrive and apprehend the man at the end of the video.

Brandi later opened up about the incident the next day. "Yesterday at 3 pm ish on Ventura blvd in Sherman oaks after lunch my date came across a man burglarizing my car red-handed. My date caught the thief & held him down until police arrived," she tweeted on Monday, November 19. "People are getting so bold it’s scary. Thankfully no one was hurt."

This news comes nearly a month after Brandi's house was broken into while she and her sons Mason, 15, and Jake, 11, were home.
