Braunwyn Windham-Burke Reflects on Coming Out During Season 15 of RHOC

Braunwyn Windham-Burke has experienced a lot of change over the course of Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Orange County. She has been an open book about all of it, including when she came out as a lesbian back in December. Braunwyn's confirmation took place as the season was airing and her sexuality was also a topic for the cast during the Season 15 reunion.

BravoTV.com caught up with Braunwyn backstage at the reunion and she opened up about her journey and reflected on her experience coming out. "It was so beautiful for me," she said, noting however that it's also "been hard."

She offered up more details about all of those emotions in the video above. Braunwyn also dished a bit more about her relationship with her girlfriend, Kris, in the above video: "I nurtured my relationship with my girlfriend privately for a long time."

Braunwyn previously said she hopes to stay married and that was still her wish as the season closed out. In fact, she was joined on the stage by her husband, Sean Burke, during the reunion and together they opened up about their relationship. They also shared how their seven kids have reacted to all of the changes in their relationship (clip below).

As for what's next for the pair? She shared during the reunion: "I hope we can find a way to make this work [and] that we're all happy. I hope we can stay living together. I hope we can stay being parents, co-parents."

Sean added, "I hope that we can maintain a good, decent structure for our kids so they can actually have something healthy and see something different. And what is the next thing? I'm not sure. But right now this is better and we're just taking the steps to see where it goes."
