Braunwyn Windham-Burke & Her Family Kicked Off the Holidays in the Sweetest Way
The RHOC mom shared a precious photo of their festive family fun.
Braunwyn Windham-Burke and her family are ringing in the holidays with some festive fun. While many traditional Christmas activities are on hold this year amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member recently arranged to have at an-home visit from Santa, capturing the sweet moment in a beautiful family photo.
On December 5, Braunwyn took to Instagram to share a glimpse at their seasonal festivities. In the precious snapshot, the mom looks festive in a red dress while posing next to husband Sean Burke and their five younger kids, Jacob, 15, 7-year-old twins Caden and Curren, Koa, 5, and Hazel, 2.
“Happy Holiday!! Thank you @stylemyholidays for creating this beautiful, safe winter wonderland!! We haven’t missed a year with Santa in 20 years, and I was so excited when I discovered this magical place in my own backyard!!!” she wrote in the caption.
As for her eldest children, 20-year-old Bella and 18-year-old Rowan, Braunwyn explained in the comments, “They’re with their boyfriends and so over it…so I guess no Santa for them this year.”
In her Instagram Stories, Braunwyn also shared a second photo of Sean and the kids. “Best dad ever ... maybe best human,” she wrote in the caption.
Braunwyn and Sean are continuing to prioritize their family after she recently came out as a lesbian in an interview with GLAAD. Earlier this week, Sean reiterated his support for Braunwyn on Twitter. "I love you. I'm proud of you. And I support you. Always," he wrote after Braunwyn addressed her sexuality and confirmed her new relationship with a woman.
Braunwyn explained to GLAAD that she and Sean are still married and learning to navigate “uncharted territory."
Of their future, she said, "I plan on staying married… We’re raising the kids together. He’s my best friend. He knows the girl I’m dating. Her name is Kris. I mean, we go to parties together! She came over the other night, hung out with the family, had dinner with us. I mean, it’s only as weird as you make it.”
