Teresa Giudice Shares Updates on Daughters & Gushes Over Louie as "the Best Stepdad" at BravoCon 2023
RHONJ's Teresa Giudice may have had to miss an important event at her daughter's college to attend BravoCon 2023, but she sent in reinforcements. Get the details!
Teresa Giudice may have missed college daughter Gabriella Giudice’s parents' weekend to attend BravoCon 2023, but she sent in some well-qualified reinforcements.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey castmate revealed during the “In a Jersey State of Mind: Part 2” panel Nov. 5 that although she was sad to miss the college weekend at the University of Michigan, two of her daughters stepped up to fill-in for her.
“I wanted to be here with you guys, so Gia, Milania, and my stepson Louie went to go see Gabriella at the University of Michigan,” she shared. Teresa added that all four of her daughters (including Audriana Giudice who didn’t make the trip with her siblings) were “doing amazing.”
Teresa’s daughters, who she shares with ex-husband Joe Giudice, have grown incredibly close with their stepbrothers Nicholas and Louie Jr. Ruelas since Teresa married new husband Luis "Louie" Ruelas in 2022. The stepsiblings are often seen posing together on social media and Louie commented on the blended family’s close bond at BravoCon.
“My sons are in a really good place with Teresa’s daughters and vice versa,” he said. “It’s cool.”
How does Louie Ruelas describe being a stepdad to Teresa's kids?
As a father to two sons, being a stepfather to four daughters is a new experience for Louie, who called his role as stepfather “really interesting” and “fun.”
“We’ve all leaned into our relationships, our love for each other,” he said. “We’ve all grown together.”
But the close relationship he’s formed with his stepdaughters hasn’t come without effort. “We’ve taken a lot of time to kind of learn and know about each other, so it’s been really good,” he said.
“He’s the best stepdad,” Teresa added.
When Did Teresa And Louie Get Married?
The couple tied the knot in August of 2022 after they first met two years earlier at the Jersey Shore and it seems their first year of marriage (at least according to Louie) has been nothing but wedded bliss.
“I’ve been married a little over a year, it’s been really, really amazing to marry someone that you met in your later age of life and fall in love with and you correct all your mistakes and wrongdoings,” he shared in the Nov. 5 panel. “It’s been nothing but beautiful. It’s been really beautiful.”
