Bravolebrities Mourn the Loss of Elizabeth Taylor

Today's passing of Elizabeth Taylor has inspired remembrances from fans the world over, including several Bravo stars who immediately took to Twitter to pay tribute to the 79-year-old Hollywood icon.

The Real Housewives of Orange County's Vicki Gunvalson tweeted a favorite quote from Taylor: "I have never felt more alive than when I watched my children delight in something, never more alive than when I have watched a great artist perform, and never richer than when I have scored a big check to fight AIDS. Follow your passion, follow your heart, and the things you need will come."

Vicki's co-star Tamra Barney also tweeted words of wisdom from the eight-time-divorced actress: "A woman has got to love a bad man once or twice in her life to be thankful for a good one." And the ever-assertive Caroline Manzo posted yet another motivational message from the avid AIDS activist: "I feel very adventurous. There are so many doors to be opened, and I'm not afraid to look behind them."

Named a Dame by Queen Elizabeth II in 1999 for her devotion to AIDS research, Elizabeth Taylor will also be remembered for her trademark violet-colored eyes. Platinum Hit's Jewel told her almost 140,000 followers, "I'd like 2 dedicate my song Violet Eyes to the great @DameElizabeth Taylor. you will be missed."

On a similar note of sympathy, The Real Housewives of D.C.'s Mary Amons expressed her grief and gratitude by tweeting , "Elizabeth Taylor, we will miss your glamour and style, but heaven is gaining a true talent and beauty. Thank you for sharing your gifts."
