"Really amazing to see Tyler do this!" the Don't Be Tardy daughter said.
Tyler Perry has stepped up to help the family of a woman who was fatally shot on Saturday in Atlanta. After the tragedy, the filmmaker decided to assist Tynesha Evans’ four kids after she was allegedly shot by her boyfriend. According to PEOPLE, he paid the family's rent so that they could stay in their home, with plans to also help pay for funerals in Atlanta and her home state of Wisconsin, and to help pay for college tuition for one of her daughters.
Her daughter Audrey Turner recalled the phone call she received from Perry to a local news organization, via PEOPLE: “It was a call I wasn’t even going to answer. I said, ‘Well, let me answer it to see who it is.’ I answered and the person on the other end said, ‘This is Tyler.’ I said, ‘Who?’ He said, ‘This is Tyler.’ I said, ‘Tyler who?’ and he said, ‘Tyler Perry.’ At that point, I just broke down crying."
Now, Don't Be Tardy daughter Brielle Biermann is revealing her family's personal connection to the victim. She took to Twitter and shared, "My sister knows the children. Really amazing to see Tyler do this!"
Police confirm that the suspect, Othniel Inniss, has since been charged with murder and aggravated assault with a firearm, reports PEOPLE.
