Viewers have gotten a front row seat into how Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright dealt with the news that he cheated on her with Faith. Throughout this season on Vanderpump Rules, we've witnessed the couple go through the ups and downs of dealing with that particular incident. And, Brittany has not been shy to let fans know that if they don't agree with her decision to stay with the SUR bartender, that's really not their business.
"I understand when people say they're wondering what am I doing, which I get that because I didn't even think I wanted to be with Jax. It was a constant battle for me too. Sometimes I loved him so much. He was my very best friend. I couldn't imagine not being around him. And then sometimes I hated him, couldn't even look at him," she told The Daily Dish earlier this season. "It's just a very confusing time and I just try to let people know, like, 'Hey this is my relationship.' I'm the one that's going through it. If we end up not working out, we don't work out. But I'm the one who's gonna have to deal with [it], not these random strangers that's never met either one of us."
That being said, Brittany has been more than happy to see there have been folks out there who have shown her a lot of support throughout the entire televised ordeal.
When we caught up with Brittany back in January, she noted that she and Jax had definitely come out of his infidelity stronger. "Actually, right now we're doing so good. We're going back to that fresh phase, the honeymoon phase," she said. "Everything feels so much better right now. We've been able to grow a lot because of everything that we went through. I can see huge changes in him or I wasn't going to stay."
Though, she noted, nothing is perfect just yet. "I still haven't set reset. It's still something that I think about sometimes and it gets brought up if get into an argument or anything like that," she explained. "And that's gonna happen for a while and he knows that. But he's doing everything that he can to make me feel comfortable and make me see that he is wanting this and that he is trying to make the changes."
