Brock Davies Encouraged Jax Taylor to Pull “Bad Joke” That Made Friend Sob: "Who The Hell Does That?"
Jax Taylor's behavior at a pool party led to tears and anger on The Valley.
I see London, I see France! But one star in the upcoming series The Valley wasn’t wearing his underpants. In a recent preview for The Valley, Jax Taylor was in hot water for pulling a prank at the behest of Brock Davies.
In the upcoming premiere, Jax and Brittany Cartwright have a mixer at their home with their new castmates and as well as people from Vanderpump Rules. It was all fun and games until Brock encouraged Jax to play what was meant to be a harmless trick on Danny Booko.
What happens in The Valley with Brock and Jax?
The family-friendly pool party was in full swing when Danny and his wife, Nia Booko, said they had to leave because their babysitter was with the couple’s three children — all under the age of 3. But first, the couple posed arm-in-arm for one last photo with Jason and Janet Caperna.
They counted out loud for the picture when Brock suggested to Jax, “Pull his pants down, pull his pants down!”
Just as the photogenic group gave their best smiles, Jax snuck up behind Danny and pulled Danny’s trunks to his ankles, exposing Danny's unmentionables to the entire party. Jax playfully ran away and through the house, as the group remained stunned.
“Who the hell does something like that?” Nia wondered.
Brock laughed to himself as the whole thing — figuratively — went down. Even Jesse Lally had himself a few chuckles.

Guests, including Scheana Shay, realized Danny had worn swimming shorts to the party and, therefore, was not wearing his underwear. Jax returned smiling and joking, though Nia was less than impressed by Jax’s actions and wondered why her husband was so calm about the whole ordeal.
“You just pulled his whole f-cking penis out,” Nia told Jax. “My heart is racing.”
“I honestly thought Danny was an underwear guy,” Jax later told producers. “You know, it’s kind of a hard way to learn the lesson that he’s not.”
The bros hugged it out after Jax apologized, and there seemed to be no ill will between Jax and Danny. However, Nia emotionally stormed off-camera as Brittany tried explaining that no one saw his genitals.
Scheana — who seemed unaware of her husband's involvement — joined Brittany and Janet to look for Nia, soon finding the mother of three crying to herself in a spare room.
“Jax just came over and pulled Daniel’s pants off,” Nia cried to the other women. “Like, who does something like that?”
Brittany, though trying to be supportive of Nia’s feelings, went to bat for her husband.
“I don’t think he realized it was gonna happen like that,” said the mother of Jax’s son. “That was a bad joke.”
Nia maintained it was still “so wrong,” while Jax and the guys seemed pretty unbothered by the situation.
“I’m sorry that your pee-pee was out,” Jax said to Danny.
Vanderpump Rules alums Jax, Brittany, and Kristen Doute join a handful of couples — including the Bookos, the Capernas, Jesse and Michelle Lally, plus Kristen’s new beau, Luke Broderick — as the close friends “trade bottle service in West Hollywood for baby bottles in the Valley, all while they navigate bustling businesses, rocky relationships, and feisty friendships,” per the show’s bio.
Cheating rumors, fractured relationships, and emotional meltdowns (oh, my!) abound in a trailer for the premiere season. Friends of the series Zack Wickham and Jasmine Goode also appear in the spinoff, with the entire cast interconnected to the cast of Vanderpump Rules, now in its eleventh season.
The Valley premieres Tuesday, March 19, 2024, on Bravo.
