Naomie Olindo Addresses Cameran Eubanks' Comments About Her Boyfriend Metul Shah
Fans wondered if the Southern Charm mom made an "inappropriate" remark about Naomie Olindo's boyfriend.
Naomie Olindo is coming to Cameran Eubanks' defense after fans questioned a remark she made about her boyfriend, Metul Shah, on Southern Charm.
Cameran gushed about Metul's good looks in the last episode of Southern Charm. "Sorry, Jason [Cameran's husband], this is probably the finest man I've ever seen in real life," she said. "He is talk, dark, and handsome — and exotic."
A fan then asked Naomie in her Instagram Story on June 2 if she thought "it was inappropriate for Cam to call Metul 'exotic?'"
"Not at all," Naomie responded, as reported by PEOPLE. "And he didn't either. Since when is that an insult? [Cameran] loves Metul and he loves her back. Let's not make a mountain out of a mole hill."
Naomie also revealed her favorite thing about Metul, who she has been dating for 14 months, in her Instagram Story Q&A. “I can always trust that he will know or do the right thing,” she wrote, according to PEOPLE. “He was raised incredibly well. I trust his judgment more than I trust my own. His level headedness, his refusal to say negative things about others, and his overall happy spirit.”
Naomie introduced her new boyfriend, who is in his residency to become an anesthesiologist, to Southern Charm fans in the Season 6 premiere. "I have a new boyfriend, and I'm just happy as a clam," she shared. "Metul is one of the smartest people I know. He's nice, he's hot, he's cool, he's fun, he's got abs. And he likes me back, which is wild!"
Naomie added during the episode, "Metul came along when I least expected somebody to, and it's like the greatest thing that ever happened."
