Cameran Eubanks has already announced that there will be no more babies for the Wimberly family, following the birth of her daughter, Palmer Corrine Wimberly, in November 2017. Still, that doesn't mean her family has stopped growing.
The Southern Charm mom took to Instagram on August 18 with a very special announcement. "FYI. The neighbors moved to NC and found it fitting that Elvis live out his golden years at Casa de Wimberly," she wrote.
Yes, it's official: Elvis — formerly the neighbors' dog and Cameran's husband Jason Wimberly's longtime bestie — has officially joined the Wimberly family! Cameran first mentioned the possibility of Elvis living with them full-time back in May, when she told The Daily Dish podcast, "Elvis is just pissing on my floor as usual, every day almost. Our neighbors actually put their house on the market and they have had a serious conversation with us that when their house sells, they are considering gifting us Elvis permanently because he has formed such a bond with Jason — they're moving to North Carolina — they feel bad taking him away from his best friend."
Cameran previously shared that Elvis belonged to their neighbor, Chase Abraham, an active duty service member in the United States Army. She also revealed how she felt about the possibility of adopting Elvis back in May, saying, "I don't have a say. I would feel so bad. He's old; he doesn't have that many days left. He's 16." Besides, "My husband has pretty much officially stolen the neighbors' dog, permanently," she admitted.
Judging by the Instagram video that accompanied Cameran's Instagram post, featuring her dancing with Elvis with a huge smile on her face, it seems the transition period is going extremely well. "Jason calls this immersion therapy," she wrote.
