Can Cynthia Salvage Her Friendship With NeNe?
The Atlanta Housewife says she'll never "step down to NeNe's level."
On the second part of the Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion last night, fans witnessed NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey come face-to-face over their deteriorating friendship. The fall-out started when NeNe called Cynthia's husband "a bitch" on a recent episode—and exploded further when NeNe said Cynthia didn't bring much to the show during her sit-down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live recently.
Now, Cynthia is getting her chance to chime in—and she admitted on WWHL last night that NeNe is her "worst enemy."
But will the two ever be able to patch things up? Cynthia isn't counting on it. "I feel like the only way we could ever be friends again is if she truly apologizes to me and means it and then I would be open to [salvaging our friendship], but I don't owe her an apology," the model tells In Touch. "I haven't done anything to her, so since she doesn't apologize for anything and is never wrong about anything, that's going to be a cold day in hell before that ever happens so I don't foresee us being friends going forward."
Whether or not the pair make amends, Cynthia does "wish her continued success," she admits. "But I'm never going to step down to NeNe's level. She is going to have to step up to mine if we're ever going to be friends again."
Still, Cynthia's heart is heavy that their friendship is over. "NeNe and I had great times together," she says. "When we were thigh, I really enjoyed our friendship. And the fans loved it, too! So it's really sad to see it disappear."
Do you think the two can patch things up? Tell us in the comments.
