Captain Lee on Delores Jumping in the Water — Again: "I Knew She Was Gonna Get the Last 'F--k You' In"
The Below Deck boss reveals if he ever got "a genuine apology" from the charter guest.
When charter guest Delores defied Captain Lee Rosbach's orders and jumped into the water at night in the January 4 episode of Below Deck, he called it "the ultimate f--k you to the captain." So, after Delores similarly dove into the water a second time while being escorted back to the dock after being asked to leave the charter, the Below Deck boss had a similar reaction to her dramatic exit.
"I knew she wasn't gonna go peacefully," Captain Lee said of Delores' second dive into the water, this time from the tender, during the Below Deck After Show (clip above). "I was standing on the aft deck watching it. I knew she was gonna get the last 'f--k you' in."
Captain Lee provided more insight into his interactions with Delores before her departure on Twitter. When one fan asked if he ever got "a genuine apology from Delores," Captain Lee responded, "Nope."
After initially wanting to end the charter completely following Delores' night swim, Captain Lee ultimately concluded that she was the only member of the group that needed to leave the yacht. "I decided to reconsider and give them the option, but she was definitely going," Captain Lee explained in a Below Deck After Show clip exclusive to Bravo Insider (clip below). "If you want to stay and play by the rules, we're fine."
In fact, Captain Lee was more than happy to give the remaining charter guests another chance and join them for dinner again during their second night on the yacht. "Yeah, they deserved not to be humiliated by Delores's actions and I wanted them to feel better, not embarrassed," Captain Lee said of the rest of the group on Twitter on January 11.
