The Below Deck captain posted a photo of himself receiving the vaccination on January 8. The photo shows Captain Lee seated with a face mask on as the first of two doses of the vaccine is administered.

Captain Lee confirmed on Twitter that his wife, Mary Anne, also received the vaccine. "Got the vaccine today, next dose in 30 days," Captain Lee wrote in the caption to the post on Instagram. "Feeling good, and glad we did it."

Captain Lee, who celebrated his 71st birthday in November, received the vaccine in his home state of Florida, according to the tag on his Instagram post. Individuals ages 65 and over are among one of the first groups eligible for the vaccine in that state. Officials recommended that states should expand access to the vaccine and administer it to anyone 65 and older on January 12, according to NBC News.

Local health departments are determining how vaccines are distributed in the United States. The CDC recommended healthcare personnel be included in the first group eligible for the vaccine.

Many of the healthcare professionals featured on Bravo have shared their experiences receiving the COVID-19 vaccine over the past few weeks, including Married to Medicine's Dr. Jackie Walters and Dr. Damon Kimes; Married to Medicine Los Angeles' Dr. Britten Cole and Dr. Kendra Segura; and The Real Housewives of Dallas' Dr. Tiffany Moon.
