Leah said she is "praying for clear margins and a clean bill of health" so she can "move onward" after her lumpectomy, she shared on Instagram prior to the procedure. "I will forever be proactive and [preventative]," she wrote. "Thank you to everyone for your prayers and support."

In August, Leah shared the news that doctors had found pre-cancerous cysts in her right breast area "that could end up aggressive because I have the gene as well." Leah explained on Instagram prior to her surgery that she does not "need chemo or radiation" and there's "a chance to remove the area of disease early and be done" after this procedure.

Captain Sandy confirmed that Leah was home in a post on Instagram on October 5. "Thank you all for your support and prayers, now we wait and see if her markers are clear," she wrote. "Please keep praying for a positive result."

Captain Sandy, who has been with Leah since November 2018, went public with her relationship in May of this year. She opened up about their romance, including how Leah has already changed her life, during the Below Deck Mediterranean Season 4 After Show, above. "It's magical. She's so amazing, and I'm so in love," Captain Sandy gushed. "She adds to my happiness, so I'm a happy soul. I am. Then I have another happy soul. It's like right now I think we're the brightest light on the planet."
