Malia White Says It Was "So Nice" to Finally Meet Captain Sandy Yawn's Girlfriend in Person

We've all seen Captain Sandy Yawn and Malia White work together on Below Deck Mediterranean. But now we know what it looks like when they get to let loose and have some fun together on land.

Malia shared a photo of her recent reunion with Captain Sandy at Topgolf in Denver, Colorado, where the Below Deck Med boss currently calls home when she's not on charter. The Below Deck Med yachties are all smiles together as they take a break from showing off their golf swings. "Not Driving Boats Driving Range," Malia joked in the caption to the post, which was shared on Instagram on May 15.

They were also joined by another very special guest: Captain Sandy's longtime girlfriend, Leah Shafer, whom Malia got to meet for the first time on this occasion. "So nice to finally meet @leahraeshafer in person!" Malia gushed in the post.

Captain Sandy also had the best time. "It was so great to catch up and meet your friends!" she wrote in the comments to Malia's Instagram post. "I had a lot of fun!"

Leah similarly gave the sweetest shout-out to Malia on Instagram after meeting her. "What a wonderful evening! Played [Topgolf] with my love @captainsandrayawn and Malia White and friends!" Leah gushed in a post on Instagram on May 16. "So great to finally meet Malia in person, what an amazing soul!"

In addition to continuing to work in yachting since Season 5 of Below Deck Med, Malia has just come off of completing an Atlantic crossing in April, the first of her career. As for Captain Sandy, she recently shared with Bravo Insider that she and Leah are currently building a home in Florida. She also announced the creation of Captain Sandy and the Ocean Rangers, an animated classroom program designed to teach students about keeping the ocean safe. With her current fundraising efforts, Captain Sandy hopes to launch the program in select elementary schools in Florida.
