Hannah Berner Says Carl Radke’s Apology Proves He Has Changed Since Previous Summers
The Summer House friends reflect on a turning point in a tense situation among them.
A tense situation between Carl Radke, Luke Gulbranson, and Kyle Cooke seemed to come to a resolve on the April 1 episode of Summer House, when the housemates got vulnerable and had an honest discussion about each of their feelings. Although it’s a moment Carl admits he “wasn’t proud of overall,” Hannah Berner is giving him major props for the way he handled things in the Bravo Insider clip above from the Summer House After Show.
“Carl used to be the king of just saying sorry to everyone,” Hannah explained. “He would sometimes do stuff he didn’t even remember doing, and just be like, ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry.’ Do the apology train. But this summer, he meant it when he said sorry.”
Lindsay Hubbard also had some kind words for Carl, adding, “I want to say I’m proud of Carl for being able to reflect in his mind and kind of connect the dots in a way that’s important to understanding how your feelings affect your actions, right? What I think Carl was doing maybe was like, ‘hey, I’m actually more hurt about the loss of my brother than I’m willing to admit, and that kind of came out in this way, and I’m sorry for that.’”
To hear Hannah explain why she felt Carl’s apology was different this time around, as well as Carl’s take on the situation and Luke’s reaction, check out the clip above. And for access to even more behind-the-scenes content, sign up for Bravo Insider.
