Carl Radke Dishes on Welcoming “Another Tall Guy” to the Summer House
The Summer House cast member weighed in on the Hamptons newbies and shared what he wants fans to know before the Season 8 premiere.
Summer should be fun, and indeed it will be – because Season 8 of Summer House is officially premiering tonight! (Get a first look at the premiere in the clip above.)
That’s right: your favorite roommates will embark on yet another trip to the Hamptons for a new season of epic-themed parties and, of course, some memorable drama.
Returning to the vacation home will be Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, Paige DeSorbo, Ciara Miller, Danielle Olivera, and Gabby Prescod. They'll be joined by new friends Jesse Solomon and West Wilson.
Speaking of the Hampton rookies, Carl recently dished on his friendships with them and even teased that he has something in common with one of the fellas. As a quick hint to what that might be, Carl will no longer be the only “tall guy” in the house.

Carl Radke opens up about Summer House newcomers Jesse Solomon and West Wilson
During an interview with The Daily Dish in February, Carl raved about how Jesse blended “perfectly” with the friend group. “Jesse is a character. He’s very funny. He’s tall, which I thought was amazing,” he said. “So, another tall guy in the house. He’s got a lot of personality [and] he’s a really good guy, but I think he does bring a lot to the table.” Carl noted that Jesse is exactly his height, which is 6'5".
When it was time for Carl to speak about West, he had nothing but positive remarks. “[West] is a little younger than Jesse, but great energy, a lot of fun,” Carl shared, adding, "He fit right in.”
What Carl enjoyed the most about his new castmates is that they connected with everyone seamlessly, saying, “[it felt like] they had been with us for eight summers already.”
The part-time Loverboy employee also explained that Jesse and West have ties in the Hamptons, as they both vacation there with friends.
As for Carl’s overall thoughts on the new guys joining him and Kyle in the house? He concluded: “We got it good this summer with the male energy. We had a couple of boys nights… and the four of us got along really well.”
What Carl Radke wants fans to know ahead of Summer House Season 8 premiere?
Sharing details on his bonds with the new roommates wasn’t the only thing Carl spoke about in his chat with The Daily Dish. He also revealed that he wanted Bravoholics to remember that the cast members are “human beings.”
"[Summer House is] supposed to be somewhat entertaining and fun and inspiring and relatable. You know, I think it’s going to be a hard season, so I’m just praying for some grace and compassion for everybody, not just me and [Lindsay Hubbard], but also the rest of the group," Carl explained. "There’s definitely things that are gonna come out, and you put yourself out there, and it’s a little scary, but I think, in the end, it’s really rewarding putting yourself out there and the ability to connect with our fans and our audience and share our stories, it’s a pretty amazing thing we get to do every year. I’m very grateful that I get to do it, so I try to remind myself of that sometimes when it is hard, but I don’t really know what to expect. It should be a really interesting season.”
Summer House Season 8 premieres (tonight) Thursday, February 22 at 9/8c on Bravo. New episodes will be available to stream on Peacock the next day.
