The romance is over for Carole Radziwill and Russ Irwin.

The Real Housewives of New York newbie confirmed the news to Us Magazine, saying: "Russ and I have decided to call it quits," without going into any more detail on the situation.

Fans got to go inside the duo's casual relationship this season on RHONY, with Russ -- who plays keyboards and sings with Aerosmith -- dropping in to spend time with Carole when he was not on tour with the band. He even wrote a solo song titled "Manhattan" for Carole and she appeared in the video for it:

Meanwhile, the timing isn't lost on Carole, as Valentine's Day is right around the corner, but she tells the magazine that she's not really a fan of the holiday, and never has been. "I haven't celebrated Valentine's Day since the fifth grade when the boy I had a crush on gave me a valentine, only to find out later that he gave one to the entire class, including the boys.
