Caroline Brooks’ Niece Was Tragically "Murdered": “I Will Never Be OK”
The Real Housewives of Dubai's Caroline Brooks shared several touching tributes to her niece and announced she'd be flying home to Boston.
Caroline Brooks' niece has passed away, The Real Housewives of Dubai cast member shared on June 1.
"My niece was murdered last night. Words can’t express how heartbroken I am. Shock is an understatement," Brooks wrote in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), alongside a photo of her loved one. "Packing up and heading to America. Will take a pause from socials."
The tragic news came just one day before the premiere of RHODubai Season 2, so Brooks went on to congratulate her castmates — Caroline Stanbury, Lesa Milan, Sara al Madani, Chanel Ayan, and Taleen Marie — as well as "dedicate" the season to her niece.
What's more, Brooks wrote, "My sweetie pie. My baby! I bathed you, did your hair, made your lunch for school everyday. Someone took you away from me. I don't have words. I will never be ok."
On Instagram, Brooks has continued to pay tribute to her niece on her Stories. In one shared on June 1, she wrote, "This isn't real. There is no way. I want everyone to leave me alone forever. Rest in peace little P. Before I moved to Dubai I spent every moment of my life with my family. My niece is gone and I am in shock. You were my baby. I can't breathe. I'M COMING HOME."
More recently, on June 3, Brooks took to her Instagram Stories with another photo of her niece. "Fly high my sweetie pie! Make sure you fly over Dubai so I can see you today okay? I'm coming back to Boston to say goodbye to you. But I know your spirit is here around me," the caption began. "I want to see you fly. Fly so high!"
"I need you. I really need you here!" Brooks continued. "I need another text from you asking me about random things. You weren't supposed to leave P. I can't cope... I raised you little munchkins. I was always stuck on babysitting duty before I grew up and had my own son. What the heck. This isn't real, I'm dreaming. For sure I am."

Brooks' latest updates came on June 4, with her first Instagram Story reading, "BOSTON[.] My Angel is flying home this weekend. It's time[.] Give me strength please."
She opened up about her grieving process in a different Story, writing, "My eyes were swollen shut from crying in my sleep. It's hard to believe this world can be so cruel. I'm lost, I'm confused, I'm heartbroken."
Then, Brooks issued a thank you "for the outpouring of support and kindness during this difficult time."
"I'm struggling but I will get through this," she added. "The love everyone has given us is the comfort we truly need during this heartbreak. This weekend will be unimaginably painful. God bless you all. Today stop what you're doing and call your family and just tell them you love them. You don't have to have a reason just do it for me."
Another Story acknowledged both the passing of her niece and the start of RHODubai Season 2. "This season came during the hardest time in my life," Brooks wrote in part. "I dedicate this iconic season of [RHODubai] to my niece P. I know you're watching from heaven my love cheering us on. You told me our show is one of the best shows on television in a long time. I love you my little angel. Until we meet again."
