Albie Manzo Opens Up About the "Crazy" Moment He Learned of His Mom's Health Scare

This season of Manzo'd with Children was full of shocking moments, from the famiglia seeing something scary while out ghost hunting to Chris Manzo doing drag to the news that Lauren Manzo Scalia and her husband Vito Scalia are expecting their first child. Of course, one of the most shocking moments was also one of the most frightening, when Caroline Manzo found a lump in her chest.  

Mama Manzo finally revealed the discovery to her children during Albie Manzo's 30th birthday party in the season finale, as well as the fortunate news that it was an infection and she was going to be just fine. "It was pretty crazy, because you have to remember too that I didn’t know that happened. I found out at my birthday that this whole thing was even going on," Albie told The Daily Dish about dealing with his mom's health scare. "It’s a little backwards for me because all of these conversations I didn’t know were happening." 

Caroline's eldest son said that the experience has taught him a valuable lesson about the unpredictability of life. "It’s a little strange because you don’t know what kind of circumstances everybody else has going on in their head. Your interactions are occurring and your reality is taking place and it was a good lesson in that. It teaches you to not to be so sure of everything," he said. "Obviously, we’re extremely lucky that this didn’t turn out to be anything."
