Caroline Manzo: 'I Became the New Danielle'
Still, she’s entering the new RHONJ season “with a very positive attitude.”
Last season was hardly all ham games for The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Caroline Manzo. But that was then.
“The past is where I want it to be. It’s in the past,” the tell-it-like-it-is matriarch confides to In Touch. “I feel good about [this season] and I’m going in with a very positive attitude and you know, Caroline is back!”
Boo-yeah! Albie, Lauren, and Chris’ mama is even hoping to get her friendship with Teresa Giudice back on track. Well, sort of. Baby steps, people. “I don’t know if we could go back to where it was, but I’d certainly like to be able to get into, ‘How’s the kids? How’s everything?’ Civil. We can be civil, certainly,” the ‘Wife continues telling the magazine. “But if it will go back to where it was, that’s doubtful.”
It’s not just Teresa who will get the cordial treatment this time around. “You’re gonna survive it and then when you look at yourself and say, ‘God, I acted so foolishly.’ Over what? It’s not worth it,” Caroline says about wearing her gossip shield next season. “And the same thing about Danielle, it’s not going to affect my life.”
Ah, Danielle. Recalling her other former nemesis, Caroline admits, “Everybody has their opinion of [Teresa]. She has a tremendous fan base and to some, I became the new Danielle.”
