Caroline Manzo Also Can't Forget This Iconic Real Housewives of New Jersey Moment

And years later, the Manzo'd with Children mom answered a question you might have been wondering about.

Caroline Manzo Shaves Her Face

As one of the original 'Wives of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Caroline Manzo was there to witness a lot of "firsts," such as the first-ever table flip on the show (courtesy of Teresa Giudice), or the first time a Housewife pushed Andy Cohen at a reunion (also courtesy of Teresa), and the first time a Housewife (her sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita) had a baby while on the show. Caroline also introduced us to a lot of firsts — namely, face shaving.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Peacock and the Bravo app.

During a discussion about personal hygiene on Albie and Chris Manzo's podcast, Dear Albie, Albie asked his mom about the beauty technique she introduced on the show.

"Do you still shave the face?" he asked her.

"Every day," Caroline replied.

"In the shower?" Albie pressed.

"Yeah," Caroline responded. "I have beautiful skin. Not a wrinkle on it; almost 58 years, not a wrinkle on it."

If you think women shaving their faces sounds familiar, it may be because dermaplaning has become popular in recent years. Dermaplaning is a technique that involves using a blade to shave off both the dead skin cells along with the fine vellus hair — or “peach fuzz” — on your face. Albie joked: "They gave that a fancy name and it's a thing now; they charge like $8,000."

However, Caroline says you don't need to seek out a professional and pursue dermaplaning when you can just get the same results right at home. Here's how you do it, according to the Manzo'd with Children mama: "Dermaplaning, which is bulls--t because you just get a razor, a man's razor... soap your face up, I don't care what you soap it up with, soap, baby oil, whatever it is as long as the razor doesn't catch on your skin, and you shave your face. I shave from the top of my cheeks all the way down my neck. I'm 57 and a half years old and I don't have a f--king wrinkle on my face."

And face shaving is really all Caroline does to maintain her glow: "I don't do Botox or any of that stuff," she shared.
