The Real Housewives of Dubai cast member and her soccer player husband of just over a year opened up about their difficult decision to put a pause on IVF during a January 2023 chat with Page Six.

The spouses told the outlet that they want to be moved into their new Dubai home, which is currently under construction, before they go forward with another round of IVF.

While their residence is expected to be completed by late February, they also want the Ladies of London alum’s three children from her previous marriage to Cem Habib (Yasmine and twins Aaron and Zack) to be settled in the home before they continue their fertility journey.

In addition to sharing the latest in their family plans, Caroline also revealed an exciting update about where she and Sergio left off in the process.

“We have a little baby boy embryo on ice,” Caroline said.

The Divorced Not Dead podcast host has been keeping her fans updated on her fertility journey ever since RHODubai Season 1 wrapped.

During BravoCon 2022 in October, the Brit confirmed that she did another round of IVF after filming.

“Since the show, I did one more round [of IVF], but none of them worked. So I just [still have] the one egg,” she said.

While Caroline said on the show that she was content with the sons and daughter she has, she recognized that it was important for her 28-year-old husband to have a child of his own.

“He wants a girl,” she said at BravoCon about Sergio’s dreams. “He wants a baby girl, so what do I do?”

Based on what Caroline told Page Six, it looks like a baby boy could instead be in their future.
