Caroline Stanbury Debuts Her New Man on Instagram
The Ladies of London alum announced her split from husband Cem Habib in 2019.
Caroline Stanbury is ready for her next chapter after announcing her split from husband Cem Habib in 2019. The Ladies of London alum shared a photo with a new special someone on Instagram on July 23.
Caroline posted a pic of herself heading off to Saint-Tropez in a helicopter while holding hands with Sergio Carrallo, a former pro soccer player originally from Spain. She also wrote "Chapter 2" in the post, along with a heart eyes emoji.
Sergio has also spent some time with other familiar faces to Bravo fans, including Real Housewives alums Lydia McLaughlin and Larsa Pippen.
Caroline announced in December 2019 that she and Cem had decided to end their marriage after 17 years together. They share three children: daughter Yasmine and sons Aaron and Zac.
When The Daily Dish caught up with Caroline in February, she was "content" with her dating life, but she wasn't actively looking for a partner. "That is not my immediate, like, 'What am I gonna do without a man?'" she said. "As far as I’m concerned, the man should be the cherry on the top, not the pie."
Though Caroline said she was fine with her newfound independence at that time, she had also given some thought as to the kind of man she'd like to be with in the future. "I don’t care about money. I want fun. I need a laugh. Ambitious. I could never be with someone lazy. Oh my god. Lazy would drive me nuts," Caroline said. "Someone who's non-judgmental. I don’t like to talk about people. Sit down and have a drink, loves drinks and movies and chilling out. And somebody who gets along with my kids."
As far as getting married again in the future, Caroline said she definitely wasn't ruling out the possibility of one day walking down the aisle. "Why not? If you find the right person, I’d get married again, I guess. I don’t know," she told The Daily Dish at the time. "It might be a bit for babies and things like that, but you never know."
Caroline was ready for whatever life had in store for her. "I feel so different for this next chapter in my life that I’m like, yeah, I’m ready," she told The Daily Dish. "Bring it on."
