Carrie Underwood Updates Fans on Her Injury Following Her Accident in November: "I'm Good to Go!"

The country crooner says she's on the mend.

Pushing Back on the Captain

Back in November, Carrie Underwood had quite the scare. The country star took a nasty spill at her home, damaging her wrist and injuring her face in the process. But now, Underwood is on the mend — and she's keeping fans looped in on her recovery process.

On January 20, the crooner took to Instagram to post a photo of her latest X-ray, and shared an upbeat message. "Last check up on the old wrist this morning!" Underwood wrote, before thanking her doctor and her physical therapist for "fixing me up." She concluded: "I'm good to go!"

Though we're no experts at reading X-rays, this indeed looks like a fine, strong wrist to us — strong enough to swing a Louisville slugger, in fact!

Previously, Underwood shared with fans that she needed 40 to 50 stitches on her face to heal up injuries there. "When I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different," Underwood said on December 31. "I'm hoping that, by then, the differences are minimal, but, again, I just don't know how it's all going to end up."

Here's hoping for a swift recovery for the Grammy winner and an accident-free 2018!
