Cary Deuber Clarifies Comments She Made About Her Husband's Weight
The #RHOD claps back at anyone who suggests she was "fat shaming" Dr. Mark.
Cary Deuber is quickly learning that what she says on The Real Housewives of Dallas will likely be dissected by viewers. In Episode 2, Cary explained the impressive 80-pound weight loss of her husband, Dr. Mark Deuber, much of which occurred before they were married. "I don't know what inspired him to lose 80 pounds, maybe my magical junk," she said in the episode. "It's not like we were doing it when he was fat." After receiving some criticism on social media, she's clearing up what she really meant by that comment to The Daily Dish.

"It's funny how you perceive what people will think versus what they actually do think," she said in the clip above. "I was speaking about my husband on one of the previous episodes and I'm so proud of him; he lost 80 pounds. Actually prior to us getting together, he lost about 60 or 70. And I said, 'It wasn't like we were doing it when he was fat.' But what I meant was, 'It wasn't like we were doing it when he was married.' I would have slept with him fat, skinny, whatever, but not married. And I did get a lot of hate about that, people thinking that I was fat shaming or saying something bad, and that wasn't at all my intention."
As for her "magical junk," well, let's just say Cary thinks it's keeping the doctor fit. "I think my 'magical junk' does keep him in shape. It may not have gotten him to where he is now, but it definitely keeps him there. It's good, it's all good. And I love him and he loves me and we're besties. And even if he gains 100 pounds, and so do I, we'll still be magically in love because that's how we are."-Reporting by Rachael Roberts
