Chad Rogers Keeps Rocking His New 'Do in His Latest Music Video
The #MDLLA alum put his own spin on an Olivia Newton-John classic.
Chad Rogers conquered the real estate game on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, but now he's pursuing another passion: music. The alum recently debuted a new music video for his band Sweet Deception's cover of Olivia Newton-John's 1980 hit "Magic."
The video opens with Chad discovering a glowing pink orb in the sand as he takes a stroll on the beach. When he looks into it, Chad is transported to a jam sesh featuring himself on lead guitar and his band. After doing a bit of shredding, Chad is then transported to an even dreamier sequence as he croons the tune.
"I've been working on my rendition of Olivia Newton-John's 'Magic' for the last 10 months," Chad introduces the clip, which he also produced, directed, and co-edited. "I chose this song for its strong message: As long as you stay true to who you are and committed to what you are passionate about, the universe will turn your dreams into a reality. Now that's what I call magic."
You'll also notice that Chad is still rocking a longer and looser mane than the Justin Bieber-esque coif he sported during his time on MDLLA.
Chad and his band previously covered another classic for his last (even more fantastical) music video released in October, Elton John's 1972 hit "Rocket Man."
While we wait to see if Chad scores a nomination at next year's VMAs, see how much this year's nominees have changed since their first time on the red carpet, below.
