Charges Against RHOP's Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Bassett Dismissed
"The State’s Attorney’s Office will not go forward with either charge against either party," according to authorities.
Charges against both The Real Housewives of Potomac's Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Bassett have been dropped, The Daily Dish has confirmed.
Both women had filed complaints against one another in November and accused the other of second-degree assault tied to an alleged incident between Monique and Candiace on October 16.
"It is confirmed that the the State’s Attorney’s Office will not go forward with either charge against either party," Public Affairs Director Ramon V. Korionoff told The Daily Dish via email.
According to PEOPLE, the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office informed lawyers on Friday (December 27) for both women that they would not be pursuing the cross complaints after reviewing evidence and conducting interviews in connection with the cases. “Charges have been dismissed by the Office of the State’s Attorney for Montgomery County, Maryland,” Korionoff also confirmed to the publication.
