Now We Know Why Charli Burnett's Boyfriend Looks So Familiar
The Vanderpump Rules cast member says her boyfriend might actually hang out with the cast more than she does.
We've heard the voice of Charli Burnett's boyfriend Corey Loftus this season of Vanderpump Rules as the SURver memorably spoke to her man on the phone with Buffy the mannequin head by her side — but we haven't really seen him. However, if you saw one photo of Corey, who is, naturally, all over Charli's Instagram, he might look very familiar to you.
Charli really underscored that in a post on Instagram on October 26, which featured a photo of her and Corey at SUR. "That one time I met @macklemore at SUR," Charli joked in the caption to the post, making a comparison between her boyfriend's looks and that of the "Thrift Shop" rapper.
Her Instagram followers were actually the ones to first point out Corey's celebrity doppelgänger, since Charli said that she "didn't see it" and "now I can't get it out of my head [laughs]" during the October 30 episode of The Daily Dish podcast, which you can listen to, below. "He hates that joke, but it's so funny," Charli said. "Because so many people comment, like, when I post him, like, 'Are you dating Macklemore?' And so yesterday, I was like, 'I have to post this that you came to SUR as Macklemore.'"
As far as this season of Vanderpump Rules goes, Charli said that we'll "get, like, a little bit of Corey here and there," although the experience of appearing in front of the cameras "was very new for him." "He did not know he was getting into this at all," Charli added. "[He] didn't know what to expect."
And though we may not always see Corey hanging out with the Vanderpump Rules crew, Charli assured us that he is just as tight with everyone as she is — maybe even more so. "He's the one that always has off, and he hangs out and parties with the crew more than I do," Charli said, explaining that her job at SUR makes it harder for her to get together with everyone on the weekends.
Charli explained to The Daily Dish podcast that she missed some moments earlier this season of Vanderpump Rules due to other commitments. "So, I finished my last week of esthetician school, which was, I couldn't leave, obviously. I couldn't mess that up in any way with, like, finals to get my license," she said. "And then I went on vacation to Hawaii, which, yeah, my boyfriend's parents got us a vacation. It was planned before filming, and there was no way I was missing a free trip to Hawaii. Absolutely no way."
Though Charli said that she missed being with her friends, going to Hawaii was more than worth it. "I mean, it's sad that I missed filming. I really wanted to be at The Belmont, and it sucks when you see things, and you're like, 'Oh, I wish I was there,'" Charli said. "But I literally had the best time in Hawaii, drank so many piña coladas. 10 out of 10 do not regret."
And if you take a look at Charli's Instagram photos from her Hawaiian holiday, you will totally understand why she wouldn't have done anything differently.
But we have to say, Charli and Corey look absolutely dreamy as a couple in all of their photos together on Instagram.
That's even the case on Halloween, dressing up as Fred and Velma in 2020 and Ricky and Carley Bobby from Talladega Nights this year. "It was his idea. Shocking," Charli joked of the outfit choice prior to this Halloween in her interview with The Daily Dish podcast.
An even more momentous occasion came on November 3 as Charli marked in her Instagram Stories her "favorite [person's] birthday," of course referring to Corey.
Charli shared an even sweeter sentiment celebrating Corey's big day in a post on Instagram that featured a collection of photos of the couple through the years. "Happy Birthday My Love," Charli gushed in the post. "In this life [and] the next I hope I always get to celebrate with you … xx."
