Instead of staying in the galley during an excursion, he comes along for the ride, living carefree in Ibiza while the time ticks on and on.

"If you guys need a hand, I feel like there's not much I could be doing," says the chef before embarking on the short ride over to a floating picnic. "What a f-cking sexy day. Nice to get some sunlight!"

According to timestamps, the whole debacle starts about three hours before lunchtime.

"I am not only stoked to be able to offer my assistance to the deck team, but after quite a few days of hard work, getting some of that fresh Spanish sunshine is quite lovely," says Cloyce in a confessional interview.

When he's told it's time to take him back to Parsifal III, he says, "not necessarily," and that he's "good" as far as prep is concerned.

Why the Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew is worried about Chef Cloyce

Cloyce may not be worried, but his fellow yachties are. "I mean, he is the chef, that's your department. But he's meant to be prepping," explains a concerned Gary King. "Like, what are you gonna make? French fries and chicken nuggets?"

And that's not the only problem — besides not doing his job, Cloyce is taking over the stews' role as well.

"Bro ..." says Diana Cruz after seeing him top off a guest's wine glass. "Like ... I'm trying to do my job, and you're trying to actually steal my job. It's his job to be in the galley. Ugh. Just annoying."

Captain Glenn Shephard's reaction to Chef Cloyce leaving the boat during lunch

Back on the boat, Captain Glenn Shephard notes that he's worried because the crew is a bit pressed for time. Guests are set to dine at 4 p.m., and the boat needs to take off at 5.

Checking into the galley, he notes that there's "not much prep in here." And it's true — there's not.
