John Legend Relates to the Vanderpump Rules Crew More Than Any Other Cast on Bravo

His wife Chrissy Teigen was a total fangirl around the #PumpRules SURvers on FABLife.

By Laura Rosenfeld

It's a well-known fact that Chrissy Teigen is a Bravo superfan, especially when it comes to The Real Housewives. So of course her husband John Legend has seen at least a Bravo show or two in his day. However, John is actually a huge fan of one show in particular: Vanderpump Rules.

How to Watch

Watch Vanderpump Rules on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

And not only does John love Vanderpump Rules, but he also feels a connection to the SURvers onscreen. "We watch a lot of the Housewives ones and everything, but for some reason, he feels like he most relates to you guys. But he enjoys Vanderpump Rules more than any other Bravo show," Chrissy told Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney, and Ariana Madix on Tuesday's episode of FABLife (clip below).

John seems like he's too laid-back to get caught in the same kind of drama as the Vanderpump Rules crew, but at least this explains why he would be so eager to perform an amazing cover of the Vanderpump Rules theme song.

But perhaps it's the authenticity of Vanderpump Rules that John appreciates the most. "That's the thing about our show, I think, as opposed to maybe other reality shows, is that ours is very real, which makes it very entertaining and very interesting to watch and very painful to film at times," Ariana also revealed on FABLife.

Though that realness is part of what makes Vanderpump Rules such a great show, it can also have its drawbacks. Katie said that having viewers comment on her sex life that's featured on the show can be "very obnoxious and very uncomfortable."

However, Katie didn't actually seem too upset about that. She did provide some intel on what she's looking for in a wedding dress when she marries Tom Schwartz, after all. "I have a vision. I'm not into like the froufrou, so definitely ethereal, boho chic, vintage-y," she dished on FABLife.

Hopefully, the Vanderpump Rules couple can agree on the details of their wedding more than they did when they were put to the test in the Newly-gaged Game.
