Chrissy Teigen Made Her Twitter Account Private Because She's Done "Absorbing Bad Sh**"

Now that's one way to deal with trolls.

By Laura Rosenfeld

Chrissy Teigen is known for her unfiltered, irreverent, and all-around hilarious tweets. However, it looks like the model and foodie is taking a break from sharing her thoughts on everything from The Real Housewives of New York City to her love of Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman.

Chrissy set her Twitter account to private on Tuesday. “Not strong enough anymore," she tweeted while confirming to one follower that she had locked her profile, according to ET.

Though Chrissy, like most celebrities, has received her fair share of hate on Twitter, she said her critics didn't influence her decision to make her page private. “It’s not haters or trolls or generally mean people,” she wrote on Twitter, ET reports. “I just feel like I’m absorbing bad sh** 24/7. My body and mind cannot handle it anymore.”

Nevertheless, it's been a busy week for Chrissy on social media. She came to the defense of Kim Kardashian following the news of her robbery at gunpoint in Paris on Sunday. She also shared her thoughts on Tuesday night's vice presidential debate featuring candidates Tim Kaine and Mike Pence, according to ET.

Here's hoping Chrissy opens up her Twitter account to the world again soon because we all need to see her witty commentary on life.

Until then, watch Chrissy give her take on the Vanderpump Rules cast on Watch What Happens Live, below.
