A Below Deck Crew Member Just Showed Kate Chastain a "True Act of Friendship"
Another yachtie broke one of their own personal rules to do something special for Kate.
It looks like Kate Chastain is getting some major love. The former chief stew recently took to Twitter to reveal which Below Deck crew member went above and beyond to solidify their friendship, and honestly, it was a pretty legendary gesture.
In a July 13 tweet, Kate explained that Courtney Skippon had previously sworn never to create a TikTok video, but made one especially for her. “The fact that @courtneyskippon broke her 'never going to do a TikTok' rule for me is a true act of friendship,” wrote Kate.
In the video, Courtney is sipping red wine and lip synching over a now-infamous line Kate said in an interview on the January 27 episode of Below Deck, after briefly butting heads with journalist Jemele Hill during a charter in Thailand: “I love an apology. This season, I’ve been called a bitch more times than I’ve been called Kate, but you know what? A bitch recognizes a bitch, so I feel like there’s some respect happening right now.”
Courtney replied to Kate’s tweet, adding that creating the hilarious TikTok was “a true act of selflessness.”
Courtney isn’t the only Below Deck friend Kate has bonded with lately. While co-hosting the July 4 episode of The Daily Dish podcast, Kate explained that she had recently spent some time with Chef Ben Robinson and his girlfriend, Kiara, when they visited the long-term vacation rental she has been staying in in Florida during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
“They were lovely, and it was so much fun, and it was so good to see them,” said Kate. “I actually love his girlfriend. Probably more than him. She’s gorgeous, she’s hilarious, she’s patient with him, which is a good match for him.”
