Cynthia Bailey Spills Tea on Peter Thomas and Being a "Little Devastated" by Porsha and Simon’s Split

Cynthia Bailey knows a thing or two about love and relationships.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum's relationships had been documented on screen over the course of her time on the show. Viewers watched it all — from her whirlwind romance with ex-husband, Peter Thomas, first captured in Season 3, to her stunning wedding with ex-husband, Mike Hill, shown in Season 13 of RHOA. 

Cynthia has never been afraid to hold back when talking about relationships, whether it's her own or her former RHOA cast members. And that is exactly what she talked about when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday, March 3.

Days after it was announced that Porsha would be returning to RHOA as a cast member for Season 16, PEOPLE reported that Porsha and Simon had officially split after 15 months of marriage. 

Cynthia spoke about it during her appearance on WWHL, addressing Porsha and Simon's divorce saying that she was "totally shocked" to hear the news. 

"I got a chance to spend time with both of them, and I love them together," she told host, Andy Cohen. "I was in. You know I'm a lover of love, Porsha is a lover of love, I was really excited she found her happy ending. So, I was a little devastated."

Cynthia noted that Porsha and Simon seemed "so happy" and had just gone on a vacation together.

"I did reach out to her and sent her some love and, you know, told her to call me if she wants to talk," Cynthia concluded.

In case you missed it: Cynthia's ex, Peter, made his return to TV when he appeared on The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 7. At the time, Dr. Wendy Osefo wanted to open up a Nigerian lounge and enlisted Peter, a successful nightclub owner and owner of Bar One, to help her get it off the ground. Later that season, Peter ended up getting involved in some drama with the cast members and needless to say, the lounge was never opened.

During an appearance on the Watch What Happens Live After Show on Sunday night, Cynthia finally addressed Peter's appearance on RHOP, as seen in the clip above, more than a year later.  

"I was just glad to see him still on television...no shade, that was not even shade," she said, laughing. "You know, just like, promoting Bar One, since I was [there] at the beginning of the whole Bar One journey...and you know, just keeping it going. I wish him well. I say that and I honestly mean it."

Cynthia also revealed that they still keep in touch for business reasons and for birthdays. "We're in a good space," she said.
