Cynthia Bailey: "I Wasn't Targeting Kim"

The Atlanta Housewife calls her co-star "an okay singer."

By Lauren Metz

No one would mistake Cynthia Bailey and Kim Zolciak for being BFFs. But Cynthia is starting to show the love for her wig-wearing co-star. A little.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star spoke to TV Guide about reports that she bashed Kim's vocal talent. "You know, the press asks me about everybody, and then they run with what I say about her. I wasn't targeting Kim. They'd say, 'Do you think Kim is Celine Dion?' No, I don't think she is Celine Dion. We definitely had some text messages about this situation."

Kim's had some harsh words in return for the newbie, but could the two soon be putting an end to the she-said, she-said rumors?

"I respect Kim," Cynthia continues. "I didn't get to shoot with Kim a whole lot, so I don't have a great relationship with her to say a whole lot about her. But this show is about opinions. I don't see how it would work if you didn't have them. It's nothing personal. As for my opinion? I think Kim is an okay singer, and I don't think I'm alone with that. However, I'm completely supportive of any ventures she wants to do when it comes to singing, I'm fine with it."

She's not exactly killing Kim with kindness, but it's a start!
