Cynthia Bailey on How #RHOA Has Impacted Her Marriage

Cynthia Bailey has always been forthright when it comes to discussing her marriage to Peter Thomas, even when things haven’t been exactly peachy. Last month the Real Housewives of Atlanta star spoke out about her relationship after a video surfaced of Peter with another women at his Atlanta bar, Bar One. Today, the couple appears stronger than ever. Cynthia and Peter recently stepped out in L.A. together for BET Weekend, and are preparing to celebrate their five-year wedding anniversary. “Marriage is not easy. Especially when you work on a reality show together,” Cynthia tells Urban Image Magazine, noting the impact RHOA has had on their union. “We are the only couple that has actually gotten married on the show. Every year of our marriage has been aired on the Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

Although it’s been a challenge, Cynthia remains grateful. “Making it to our five-year anniversary is a blessing,” she says. And because no celebration is complete without a fabulous trip, Cynthia already has a certain kind of getaway in mind. “We plan on taking a trip together to celebrate the month of December. I would love to go to the Maldives. We are still deciding. As long as there is a beautiful beach, a spa, great food and cocktails, and no TV, I’m good”
