Daisy Kelliher Reacts to the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Reunion: "I Am Really Embarrassed"
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht chief stew looks back at filming the "intense" sit-down with Andy Cohen.
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht reunion has already given us unforgettable moments — and that's just in Part 1 alone. However, it's all a little fuzzy for Daisy Kelliher.
Viewers may have noticed Daisy sipping on some wine during Part 1 of the reunion, which aired on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on June 21 (clip above). Well, it turns out the chief stew may have imbibed a little bit too much during the taping. “I started drinking at like 3 pm and I didn’t eat so I only remember the first five minutes and I don’t remember anything after that,” Daisy told Decider in an interview earlier this month. “I am really embarrassed. I’m on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen next week and I have to apologize. I can’t tell you what happened at the reunion, I don’t remember!"
So, the chief stew has one major takeaway from her first Below Deck Sailing Yacht reunion: “Don’t drink on an empty stomach and then record a TV show, it’s not gonna end well.”
In a post on Instagram following the airing of Part 1 of the reunion, Daisy revealed that she and Sydney Zaruba, enjoyed a glass of wine as they got ready for the reunion together. The Parsifal III crewmates were both based in Palma de Mallorca, Spain at the time they filmed the virtual reunion. "Me and [Sydney] getting ready for the [Below Deck Sailing Yacht] reunion. This is a lovely photo pre wine when I could keep my eyes open and stand properly," Daisy captioned a photo of herself and Sydney laughing while looking uber-glam out of their Parsifal III uniforms before the reunion began.
Sydney also shared a Boomerang of Daisy giving her a peck on the cheek in her Instagram Stories from the moments before the reunion taping.
Daisy opened up to Decider about what it was like filming her first reunion with her Parsifal III crewmates. "A lot came out, a huge amount of information that I knew, so none of it was a shock to me, but a lot of it was shocking to the other cast members," she said. "It was intense in that way but there was no aggression or shouting or anything like that. It wasn’t as bad as what I thought.”
It's no wonder Daisy looked so relieved after the reunion taping in a post on Instagram from late May.
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 reunion continues with Part 2 on Tuesday, June 22 at 9/8c. Watch a preview, below.
