Dale Talde's New Spot Up for 'Time Out NY' Award

His no-frills hotspot Pork Slope earns a "Best New Neighborhood Joint" nod.

By Mike Hess

Dale Talde fell short of winning Top Chef, but his new restaurant Pork Slope might be the top new neighborhood spot in New York City.

Fans will ultimately make the decision for Dale, who's nominated for "Best New Neighborhood Joint" in the Time Out New York annual Food & Drink Awards. The Roadhouse-inspired restaurant-bar has become quite the hit in the Brooklyn neighborhood it's named after (Park Slope, for those who aren't familiar). Dale's concept was open up a casual bar with cheap, delicious grub -- and less than a year later, here we are.

Dale is the only TC alum in this year's slate of nominees, so head over to Time Out and vote for him!
