Dana Wilkey Explains Her 'Dana-isms'
Can't find the right word? Make one up.
It's always hard being the new girl, especially when there's a language barrier.
"I have Dana-isms," Real Housewives of Beverly Hills new addition Dana Wilkey reveals to People about her quirky personality. "People make fun of the way I talk sometimes. I don't know if it's because what I say sounds silly or because I make up words. There are things I call people. It's very funny."
When RHOBH returns on September 5, Dana and her Dana-isms will join Brandi Glanville as the newest additions to the glitzy mix. While Brandi's divorce from TV actor Eddie Cibrian catapulted her into the media spotlight, this is Dana's first taste of high profile drama, but she's been doing her homework... literally.
"I study the brain," the 37-year-old 'fesses. "I know that's really weird, but I read books about the brain. So when my friends call me and they're like, 'I'm really in love with this guy,' I'm like, 'No you're not. Your hypothalamus is overreacting.'" Sounds like Adrienne Maloof has met her voice of reason match.
Luckily for Dana, her hypothalamus stayed in check and she's fallen for her Mr. Perfect. The east coast native is engaged and busy planning her wedding, scheduled for next year. Get to know more about this bride-to-be (and her fiancé) in our exclusive video interview.
