At the end of the May 17 episode, JL told Dani that he suspected that he might have an STD, which was obviously very distressing news to the stew, as you can see in the above clip. Dani then told her superior, chief stew Daisy Kelliher, that she wanted to leave Parsifal III and go home.

In the next episode, which aired on May 24, Dani did not leave the crew and stayed on the boat at the encouragement of Daisy, who told the stew that they would have a conversation after the lunch service. Daisy also advised Dani to talk to JL.

Before the two talked, JL consulted a doctor, who told him that it was likely not an STD and just chafing, which was later confirmed to be the case. JL then pulled Dani aside to apologize to her and let her know the good news. Dani also apologized for overreacting, and the two kissed and embraced.

Dani opened up more about this stressful time aboard the Parsifal III during the latest episode of the "Pita Party" chat with Daisy, Alli Dore, and special guest Below Deck Sailing Yacht alum Paget Berry on Instagram on May 25.

The stew revealed what was going through her mind during this emotional roller coaster, sharing that she felt like she was having an "anxiety attack, a panic attack, all sorts of attacks" when JL first broke the news to her. "I wanted to f--king leave the boat, go back to Brazil," Dani said.

Daisy also shared how she felt when Dani told her that she wanted to quit the charter season. "Like, I'm trying to calm Dani down, and that's what I explained to her in that lunch because that lunch was so hectic and Dani's like, 'I'm leaving,'" Daisy recalled. "And I'm like, 'I can't talk to you right now.'"

Paget noted how much he enjoyed Daisy's comment in an interview in the episode in which she said, "You don't need to quit your job just because your boyfriend's penis hurts. It's not a thing. That was probably a bit dramatic."

Daisy explained during the Instagram chat that she had a feeling that things weren't going to turn out as seriously as Dani and JL had thought at the time. "I'm trying to be really polite and sweet, but in my head, I'm like, 'What the f--k?'" Daisy said. "Yeah, in my head, I'm like, 'Dani can't quit because her boyfriend's d--k hurts. Like, that's just not a thing. You can't do that.'"

Dani said that she wasn't offended by Daisy's comment in the episode when she watched it on TV. "It was funny, Daisy," Dani said. "I laughed at it."

Dani also explained why she felt like leaving the Parsifal III crew when all of this was going on with JL. "I was just like, I want to have fun. I came into the season to just work and chill," she shared. "I was just like, 'No, f--k that. That's too serious. I'm gone.'"

The stew also shared that Below Deck Sailing Yacht viewers had a front row seat to everything during this emotional time for her and JL during the episode. "The conversation that JL and I had was what you guys saw on TV — literally. That's all we talked about this. There was, like, no other talk," Dani said. "I didn't know what he thought he had. I didn't know what his symptoms were. I didn't know anything. That's all I had."
