Was Danielle Staub Acting for "More Drama" After *That* Tongue Injury?
One of The Real Housewives of New Jersey husbands seems to think so...
A lot of unbelievable stuff has happened over the years on The Real Housewives — and that includes all sorts of medical emergencies. But no one could have ever anticipated what happened to Danielle Staub on The Real Housewives of New Jersey when the ladies headed off to the Bahamas for her ill-fated wedding to Marty Caffrey. As you might recall, the Garden State pal suffered an injury that left her tongue pretty badly injured after she chomped down on a cantaloupe seed. And there was only one person with the skills to help her through it: Margaret Josephs' husband, Joe Benigno.
"I'm like 'what the f---?' I'm a hunter and I don't care about blood. I look at it and I take a cloth and I put pressure on it," he recalled in the The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 9 After Show, clip above.
What else happened during that incident? Well, for more details on the injury straight from Danielle and Joe themselves, and to find out which Garden State husband declared "she bit on her tongue so that she can get a little bit more drama," press play on the video above.
