All the Details on Danni Baird's Unique Engagement Ring: "I Love That It's Not One Rock"
The Southern Charm alum received a "really artsy" ring from her new fiancé.
Congratulations are in order for Southern Charm alum Danni Baird!
The Charleston native and painter told People that she is now engaged to her boyfriend, Nick Volz, who is the father of her son. In typical artist fashion, Danni's engagement ring is incredibly unique.
Nick proposed to Danni with an absolutely stunning diamond and 24-karat yellow gold band, according to People. The ring skips the traditional center diamond, instead featuring multiple stones scattered throughout the ring, which makes it so eye-catching.
"Nick designed it and it's absolutely beautiful, I love it," Danni told the outlet.
"It's perfect for me because I use my hands a lot with my artwork, even with the baby [six-month-old son, Jackson "Yates" Volz]. So I love that it's not one rock," she added.

Although Danni is used to being the artistic one in the relationship, she noted that she was impressed with Nick's design.
"I don't know how he did it, but it's really artsy. It's very pretty," she said. "And it's interesting enough that I won't mind looking at it for the rest of my life."
How did Nick Volz propose to Danni Baird?
Danni was surprised by Nick's proposal in June, when he popped the question after coming back from vacation. It was only fitting that the Charleston native got proposed to in her hometown.
"We had just driven five hours back from Lake Keowee, where we were visiting my parents, and he was like, 'Do you want to go for a stroll at the Battery?'," Danni told People. "And I thought he just wanted to stretch his legs, but next thing I knew I turned around and he was down on one knee, telling me, 'This is long overdue.'"
Danni told People that they plan on getting married before Yates' first birthday in December, which means wedding planning while simultaneously house-hunting for their forever home. "We have a couple of months to plan it, but we'll keep things small," she said. "We have a lot going on. I don't know how we do it all, but we always find a way."
