What Does Dax Shepard Think About Those This Is Us and Parenthood Comparisons?
He shared his thoughts on the two shows on #WWHL.
Both Parenthood and This Is Us are endearing family dramas that pull on your heartstrings, sometimes make you laugh, and definitely make you shed a tear. So comparing the two series may come easy for some viewers — which if you ask Dax Shepard, who played Crosby Braverman for six seasons on Parenthood before it ended in 2015, is totally fine. He makes a really good argument about why that is, so hear him out:
"Well I'm under the understanding that people love This Is Us, so it's cool if they're comparing it to a show that they love," he shared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday.
But that's about all he can say about it. You see, he has yet to tune into the hit NBC dramedy (which makes him the only person on the universe who hasn't seen it, quite frankly). "I have not seen it, so I don't personally have an opinion on it," he added. "But it seems like when people say that, they tend to like both. So that's really nice."
