Denise Richards Celebrates the 20th Anniversary of Drop Dead Gorgeous: "I Remember Shooting This Like It Was Yesterday"
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newcomer paid homage to her star turn in the 1999 cult classic.
Has it really been 20 years since Denise Richards graced our screens as Rebecca Ann "Becky" Leeman in Drop Dead Gorgeous? Apparently.
The newest Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member posted an homage to the 1999 cult classic on Instagram on July 25, writing, "In honor of the 20th anniversary of #DropDeadGorgeous I thought this was appropriate for #TBT[.] I remember shooting this like it was yesterday." Denise posted the caption alongside a memorable clip from the film, in which Becky danced with a figurine depicting Jesus on the cross.
And if you haven't seen the iconic movie, you're going to want to check out that clip below.
As a refresher, Denise's character, Becky, is the daughter of the richest man in her small town of Mount Rose. Her mother, Gladys Leeman (played by Kirstie Alley) is a former Sarah Rose Cosmetics Mount Rose American Teen Princess Pageant winner and head of the pageant organizing committee, determined to make sure her daughter is next in line for the crown. Becky is competing against her peers, including Amber Atkins (played by Kirsten Dunst). Things take a dark turn for the pageant contestants when they start mysteriously dying one by one in suspicious ways.
