The comedy star was totally into the idea on #WWHL.

A ‘Girlfriends’ Reunion?

It's been a minute since the legendary Diana Ross has wowed us on screen in movies like Lady Sings the Blues, Mahogany, and The Wiz. So now that her daughter, Tracee Ellis Ross, is slaying the TV game as the matriarch on black-ish and picking up Golden Globe Awards in the process, we have to wonder if now's the time for the diva to finally make her triumphant return to acting.

How to Watch

Tune in to WWHL on Bravo Sunday through Thursday and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Tracee addressed that burning question on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "I don't know," the Emmy-nominated actress said of the possibility of Diana ever appearing on black-ish. She then added that actress Anna Deveare Smith already plays Bow's mother on the show, so that kind of rules out that role. But Tracee kept our hopes alive, saying that a black-ish cameo for her mom "sounds like a fun idea."

Tracee also got us excited when she said that she "would love to" reprise her Girlfriends role in a reunion for the comedy or a new movie. Not only is Tracee still friends with all of her former castmates, but she also demonstrated that she still knows the words to Joan's unforgettable song about Cinco de Mayo.

What other dirt did Tracee have to spill on WWHL? Find out during her round of Plead the Fifth, below.
