Did Carole Radziwill Run the New York City Marathon Again This Year?
The Real Housewives of New York City alum shared an update on the day of the 2018 marathon.
In 2017, Carole Radziwill accomplished a feat most of us can only dream about, or promise to do someday: The What Remains author completed the 26-mile New York City Marathon in six hours, 42 minutes, and six seconds, according to her results page on the New York Road Runners website. She has previously referred to the moment as one of her favorites from her time on The Real Housewives of New York City, and we'd venture to guess it's an experience she'll always be proud of. So, did the RHONY alum lace up her running shoes to participate in the 2018 race as well?
Carole answered the question in a November 4 Instagram post. To caption a photo of herself with Ramona Singer and former Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief Michele Promaulayko, the author wrote: "I didn't run the marathon today but I did run into these two cuties."
Ahead of her big day last year, Carole, who announced in July she would not be returning for Season 11 of RHONY, said, "Running the New York City Marathon is such a thrill. It's such an iconic New York thing to do. So I'm glad I did it. I'm not surprised I finished because I knew I was gonna finish it if I had to crawl over that finish line," Carole shared. "But it definitely took a lot of mental power, even more than physical power. It's like a mental game, the marathon. Physically, your body's just gonna move forward. If you're strong mentally, that's the difference between finishing and not finishing."
She also anticipated she wouldn't run another marathon again. "I don't know if I'll do another marathon," Carole told The Daily Dish. "I think I'm a natural half marathoner or I've done half marathons before, and that to me feels more my speed. It feels more athletic and less of a mindf--k."
