Jesse Lally Admits There Were 2 Subtle Clues Michelle Was Hiding Something in Their Marriage
Jesse Lally admitted he has “all these crazy ideas in my head" after noticing these two changes in his wife Michelle's habits.
When you’re married, you know your partner’s habits — which makes it all the more disconcerting when they suddenly change.
Jesse Lally shared on The Valley the two subtle clues that led him to suspect his wife Michelle might be hiding something in their marriage, even as she continued to insist he had nothing to worry about.
Does Jesse Lally think Michelle Lally cheated on him?
As the couple’s marriage was struggling, Jesse noticed his wife made a slight — yet noticeable — change to her cell phone habits.
“She used to yell at me when we first started dating if I put my cell phone face down and then all of a sudden she starts putting her cell phone face down,” he admitted in a confessional.
The luxury real estate agent’s concern grew when he noticed that whenever Michelle told him she was going out with the girls, she stopped documenting the nights with fun-filled photos on social media.
“For years, she wouldn’t go out and have a margarita without doing a Boomerang and all of sudden no more posting,” he said. “Her thing was, 'Well, sometimes I just like to take a break from social media.' Bullsh-t, she never took a break from social media. Ever.”
Jesse opened up about the red flags after another disastrous dinner party in which Kristen Doute continued to insist that she was “protecting” Michelle by keeping a secret that could threaten their marriage.
Out of the earshot of the Lallys and the rest of The Valley cast, Kristen alleged to producers while storming out of the dinner that Michelle had a “boyfriend for a year.”
“About a year ago, Michelle and Jesse were very unhappy, Michelle had a guy,” she later claimed in a confessional. “She was seeing him, they were hanging out. I was not against any of this because I think Jesse is a piece of sh-t.”
What has Michelle Lally said about cheating rumors?
Yet, when producers asked Michelle whether she had any secrets that needed protecting, the real estate agent pleaded ignorance.
“No,” she said. “I can’t think of what secrets Kristen is referring to.”
The rumors were taking their toll on Jesse, who admitted as much over smoothies the next day with Michelle.
“Kristen is becoming pathological in her lying,” Jesse said. “It’s sad.”
“It is sad,” Michelle agreed. “She doesn’t know anything about our marriage.”
Jesse then opened up about how the comments were making him overthink everything.

"It was so hard for me to hear some of those things that she was saying. It’s just like waking up in the middle of the night and thinking about comments,” he said. “So that gets in my head and then it’s like, you know, you went out with the girls. Why didn’t you post any pictures of you guys cheersing margaritas or something? And I’m like, did she really go out with the girls or is she seeing somebody behind my back?”
Jesse said the worries continue to “snowball” and then he has “all these crazy ideas in my head,” but Michelle was quick to try to shut down his suspicions.
“That shouldn’t be in your head and you shouldn’t think like that,” she said. “You shouldn’t have to worry, we’ve never had that type of relationship where we have to worry about each other and I’ve been honest with you.”
The pair ended the conversation by confirming they planned to take a united front.
“OK, well, team Michelle and Jesse,” Jesse declared.
The couple announced they were splitting just days before The Valley premiered in March. They have yet to give a specific reason for why they were calling it quits.
