Difficult People Season 2 Trailer Is Here and It's Filled with Familiar Faces

Look out for a #RHONY cameo in Season 2 of the Hulu comedy.

By Laura Rosenfeld

We didn't think it was possible, but it looks like Season 2 of Difficult People is going to be filled with even more famous guest stars than the first time around. As you can see in the new trailer for Season 2 trailer released Thursday (clip below), aspiring comedy writers Julie Kessler (Julie Klausner) and Billy Epstein (Billy Eichner) will run into the likes of Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda and Saturday Night Live alum Rachel Dratch in the new season, as well as Nathan Lane, who will be joining the cast.

But how could any show that takes place in the Big Apple be complete without a visit from The Real Housewives of New York City? Sonja Morgan and Luann de Lesseps teased their Difficult People cameo in February, which Julie seemed to confirm on Twitter Thursday while sending love to Ms. Morgan.

Vulture has previously reported that "several Real Housewives of New York will also appear on the new season of the show." Luann also said that her Difficult People role will be as one of Julie's friends on Difficult People during an AOL BUILD interview in May.

The countess had the honor of announcing that Difficult People would be returning to Hulu for Season 2 back in August.

And Julie has shown her support for Luann's recent Before They Were Housewives special.

The RHONY ladies aren't the only Bravolebs popping up in Season 2 of Difficult People. Megan Hilty, who played Frumpkis' new wife Charlene last season of Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce has also joined the Hulu comedy's cast for the upcoming season, according to Vulture.

Difficult People premieres July 12 on Hulu, and clearly, it can't come soon enough.

Until then, enjoy Julie's hilarious take on last season of RHONY, below.
